Number Resource Performance

October 2025

Resource Allocation Performance

These performance targets relate to the allocation of unicast IP addresses and AS numbers to Regional Internet Registries, in conformance with global allocation policies. Individual requests are expanded upon later in the report.

Requests acknowledged on time (100%)
Responded on time (100%)
Implemented on time (100%)
Implemented accurately (100%)

Reverse DNS Performance

These performance targets relate to the provision of reverse domain resolution (i.e. using in-addr.arpa and ip6.arpa). Regional Internet Registries submit modifications to DNS records for their respective number resource allocations through an API, and IANA is responsible for propagating those amendments in the DNS.

API Acknowledgment Time (0.17s)
DNS Propagation Time (5.05m)
API Server Availability (100%)
DNS Distribution Availability (100%)
 — DNS Availability (100%)

Individual Allocation Requests

No Regional Internet Registry requests were performed in October 2025.
