Root Zone Label Generation Rules
The rules determining which labels may be used as internationalised top-level domains in the DNS root zone, and which labels are variants of one another. Each script is maintained as its own element ruleset; the Common ruleset integrates them all.
The ruleset is maintained as one file per writing system, each developed by a community generation panel for that script, plus an integrated ruleset that merges them all and carries the variant relationships that cross script boundaries. A label is eligible for the root zone only if the integrated ruleset says so.
